Our friends at City of Hope came to us with a big project: Design the new look for one of their most important events (and make it look good!)

We have a great relationship with City of Hope and always jump at the chance to support the work they do towards treating and researching cancer here in Southern California.  The Angels (a volunteer group of professionals in the grocery business with whom we also partner) hold their annual fundraiser for City of Hope: The Angels Fashion Show and Luncheon.

Graphic Design, Invitation, Signage, and Custom Slide Deck Templates

It is a remarkable event!  Hosted by Carson Kressley of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy fame, it is a spectacle of fashion, dance, and entertainment held at the Disneyland Hotel & Conference Center.  Our job: Give it a fresh look that matched the energy, style, and feel of such a heavenly event.

Given the angelic name, our target was the clouds and heavens above.  A palette of dusty pink and deep navy inspired by the prismatic nature of clouds in a sunset added to our vibe, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

After completing the design, we got to work in delivering Custom Print Invitations and RSVP Cards, a digital invitation for email, 2’x3′ Event Signage, and Digital Projection templates for the Angels to create their own slide deck for in-event presentations to match the aesthetic of the event.

In the end, it was dreamy.  Exactly how we intended it for such angels.

Masoud was born in Iran to a German mother and Iranian father. He began his career as a commercial airline pilot during the glamorous “Catch Me If You Can” days of the airline industry. After moving to the United States, he learned about printing from the ground up by taking an entry level job at a small mom and pop print shop and learning how to do every position. Since then, he started his own company and has grown it so that he can provide clients a full array of printing services including wide format, offset, digital, die cutting, etc.
