People of Print
We love making your ideas a reality
Call us old school, but we like to work with our hands to make beautiful products. Of course we rely on top-of-the-line tools to perfect the craft, but we are not an online, sub-par delivery of printed business cards. We work with designers and artists together in our shop. We get the colors perfect. We make the advertisement pop. We make the branding tangible and at your customer’s fingertips.
For over 30 years, Classic Litho + Design has been working with large and small businesses to deliver quality print products. Packaging, Large Format, Custom Die Cutting, Bindery, Fulfillment, and yes, even business cards are rolling out of our Torrance facility on a daily basis.
We look forward to working to make your next idea into reality.
Top Of The Line Equipment
Each client’s job is different than the next. We leverage the latest technology and master the oldest of refined techniques to maximize our efficiency while delivering quality, every time.
Offset Presses
The heart of our operation, our offset print capabilities are more efficient than most due to two large press rooms. One holds our Heidelberg 6-color CD 102 with Interdeck UV. The other, the latest Heidelberg 8-color CD 102. Like children, we can’t pick our favorite!
Finishing & Bindery
Our efficiencies get even better with our complete bindery with in-house saddle stitching, perfect binding, die-cutting, and fulfillment. The heart of the bindery is our original Heidelberg S Series 28″ Cylinder Die Cutter (you’ll have to come see this piece of history!).
Digital Press & Large Format
Lightning fast with no sacrifice to quality, our Hewlett Packard Indigo 7800 Digital Press can serve a number of our clients. For banners, signs, and other large format jobs, our large format capabilities are bolstered by our Hewlett Packard Scitex Industrial Printer FB 700 and Designjet L26500 Latex Printer. The Zund G3 L-3200 Digital Flatbed Cutter, Graphtec FC8000-130 Cutter Plotter, and the Seal 65 Pro MD Laminor round out the room.
Technology & Support
Our team of print support staff and graphic design artists use the latest hardware and software to support your artwork directly to fruition. Multiple Apple iMac and Mac Pro Workstations connect to our Kodak Workflow Server and client facing FTP server for clean, reliable data transfers.

Bill Bardes

During this time, Bill and a partner created a directory for musicians of rehearsal spaces, recording studios, etc. In the process of writing and printing the directory, Bill learned all the ins and outs of printing. Bill left his career as a data programmer and was hired by a print shop to create their digital prepress department. After 20 years in prepress, Bill moved into print production where he is able to help clients with their projects. Staying true to his Motor City roots, Bill loves to work on cars.
